What are the top 5 medical professions LEAST likely to be sued for medical malpractice? (ex. radiologist, surgeon, or family practice, etc.)
Please only include professions from medical school, not a school like pharmacy or dental school.
I would say a therapist/ psychologist/ psychiatrist/ counselor would be least likely to be sued, assuming they follow the confidentiality rules, which most do.

I have a bad tooth ache, and maybe a abcess, I am curently out of work and am looking into going to the west valley (glendale) dental school in arizona to get it pulled or posibly filled depending on the cost/availability is it a good idea? and how much might it cost, my father recently had a tooth pulled, no insurance or anything and the regualr dental office charged 350$ I just cant afford that right now, but I cant live with the pain anymore either.
Yes it will be ok as there will be an oral surgeon there in case of a problem that the student can't handle!! Doc W

I'm a senior in high school in VA. I decided I want to become a dental hygienist. I found a college in NC that is actually closer than Virginia Western Community College, the college I decided to apply to first. In the program for the one in NC (Wayne Community College) it says everyone will take the board examinations for licensing at the end. Could I still go here if I wanted to be licensed in VA? Would I just not take the tests with everyone else and instead take the VA ones? Also, my dad happened to find out that he works with the son of someone who may be involved in the application reviewing process at Virginia Western, and got his phone #. He keeps telling me I need to call him and ask questions or something just incase it would help me, but I have no idea what I'd say. Suggestions?
Also, I'm now in a program where I leave early to go work in an office, but I plan on quitting this job with the end of school (early June). However, I will still need a job to make money over the summer before college starts (if I can somehow make it in). I think it'd be great if I could somehow work in a dental office, but I have a feeling that will be impossible without experience as even ppl at the desk need experience. Do you think there's any chance. Otherwise I have no idea where I'll work, any ideas?
All good questions you've asked. For the exam, it's a national exam, so you could practice in any state. It may be wise to go with the program close to home.
If you want to work in a dental office without a license, you can only do so as the receptionist.

I have an interview for hygiene school admissions and I am kind of worry..Does anyone have such experience? What questions might be asked?
Thanks
these ppl who have answered are idiots!!!
ok…I am in my last semester of hygiene school so I think I can answer this for you.
I remember them asking me why I wanted to be a hygienist…would type of experiences have I had in dentistry…and mainly can I handle that heavy course load.
Hygiene is VERY intense and it is NOT for the weak at heart…trust me!
You will spend the most intense, difficult time of life in there! RDH means REALLY DAMN HARD because you will work REALLY hard to get that title. I wish u luck

is called MEDIX, i went to the school, did a 12 minute aptitude test of 50 question (barely passed), the facility is neat consisted of dental lab, computer lab.
but should price of this high reasonable in vocational medical school
$14,000!! SERIOUSLY!
I'm in school for Dental Assisting at a Tech school and the full price is a little bit over $2,000. Sorry, wouldn't pay that much. You could probably even attend a community college for Dental Hgy. and get it for cheaper.
